The National Youth Council (NYC) seeks to provide opportunities for youth to share their views, hear diverse perspectives, as well as take action on issues that matter to them. They also aim to imbue youths with values and skills to thrive in a globalised world while keeping a strong Singaporean heartbeat. NYC is inviting you to submit proposals for the NYF Youth Programmes/ Capability Development (YPCD) grant!

As we emerge from the pandemic, vulnerable youth segments remain in our society who may be at-risk of experiencing a digital and social divide.

With one of the grant themes being "Social Cohesion: Intergenerational Bonding and Support for Vulnerable Groups", projects under this theme should develop youth from vulnerable groups and empower youths to support vulnerable groups, such as:
a) Youths from lower-income groups
b) Youths with Disabilities/ Special Educational Needs
c) Youths at-risk of social isolation (e.g., youths avoiding social contact, withdrawing from social interactions)

Projects should also fulfil at least one of the following objectives:
(i) Bridge and foster relationships to improve youths’ resilience and social capital; or
(ii) Empower and activate youths to volunteer with a community organisation to better support vulnerable youth groups
