Shortlisted participants will be invited to attend the Award Ceremony to be held at the Istana on 5 December 2017
Winners will receive the following:

1. Trophy
2. Cash Award
Social Enterprise of the Year: $50,000
Social Enterprise Start-Up of the Year: $40,000
Youth Social Enterprise of the Year: $25,000
Commendation Awards: $1,000
3. In kind contributions and/or support from corporate partners of the Award, where appropriate
4. Customised services from the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) Limited, which includes advisory services, networking opportunities, access to funding and invitations to a range of initiatives and programmes designed especially for the development of the social enterprise ecosystem in Singapore.

Award Eligibility Criteria

Social enterprises must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for the Award:

1. The enterprise must be incorporated/registered in Singapore;
2. The enterprise must be operating and creating social impact by addressing social needs primarily (i.e. more than 50%) in Singapore; and
3. The enterprise must not have won or received a commendation Award on the past PCSEA (i.e. in 2015).
Co-operatives that meet the above criteria are welcome to apply for PCSEA 2017.

All decisions made by the Award Committee with regard to the Award are final and binding. The Award Committee, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify the rules and criteria for the Award at any time. The Award Committee also reserves the right to withdraw or revoke any award that has been made and/or presented.

Instructions for applicants
Participation in the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award 2017 is by:
+ Application by the social enterprise (submission of all required documents)
+ Nomination/referral from an official intermediary agency

All applicants must ensure that they have a nomination/referral from one of the intermediary agencies. Applicants without a nomination or referral must inform the PCSEA Secretariat via email (pcsea2017@raise.sg) by 14 July 2017.
