About Growthbeans

Growthbeans is a social enterprise that supports the growth and well-being of individuals & leaders in Asia. We provide coaching-infused programs, products and services that equip individuals with compassion and key people skills to grow resiliently, connect authentically, and give meaningfully.Specifically, individuals are empowered to:Know themselves better and find purpose and meaning in life, school or workBuild resilience and enhance well-being Develop people and leadership skills Build collaborative and inclusive teamsBe empowered to tackle lifes challenges and achieve goalsWellbeing, inclusivity and employability are important to individuals across all age groups. The common factors amongst these three elements that impact the socioeconomic level of these individuals are self awareness and ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships. The other gap noticed is how groups are segmented by demographics to meet their specific needs but this means there could be people that may fall through the cracks or society is not tapping on the strengths of others outside their age group. We identified a systemic gap that impacts the well-being and employability of individuals, and social resilience of the community .Loneliness is prevalent amongst all ages, from youths to elderly. They seek meaningful relationships and social support systems on a consistent basis. However, existing social connections that they have with family can be impacted by family members workplace stress & burnout. Many adults also belong to the sandwich generation where they need to care for both aging parents as well as young children. The increased responsibility and finding purpose in life adds to stressors. Stressors accumulate and often there is not enough outlet for them. Singapore has also been identified as one of the least emotionally aware countries. This makes it harder for individuals to talk about their feelings. More can be done to support individuals in developing the skills needed to reach out, connect, express themselves to be heard, understood and supported. This would enable more respect, compassion for others so that we can bridge greater inclusivity and employability. Without meaningful relationships, support systems, the ability to regulate emotions and manage stress, it can impact psychosocial wellbeing and contribute towards mental health issues. As it is, the mental health system is currently overtaxed and more can be done upstream, at the prevention level, to support the wellbeing of individuals. We create sustainable community-centric programmes and empower individuals in schools, communities and workplaces to sustain it. These programmes help individuals to have Self-discovery and a way to express themselvesMeaningful Connections and understanding People Centric Knowledge and Skills Development for more compassion and empathy
