About Hawker Boys
Hawker Boys is a social enterprise in Singapore building a structured pathway into hawkering for people rebuilding their lives and returning to the community. Social impact is integrated into the business through four connected pillars: training, placement, aftercare and a supported pathway to stall ownership. Our training combines selected WSQ-certified modules with Hawker Boys’ own curriculum in hawker management, culinary skills, business foundations and digital productivity tools for F&B. Trainees then progress into market-rate placements with partner hawkers, supported by wraparound aftercare and mentoring. Over time, those who show readiness and consistency may progress towards stall ownership. Our long-term aim is to create sustainable livelihoods, reduce barriers to reintegration and build a practical, dignified pathway from skills training to income and eventually ownership.
