Asia’s Largest Celebration of
Social Enterprises and Their Impact
FestivalForGood (FFG) is a flagship event and campaign created by raiSE to celebrate and amplify the impact of social enterprises in Asia. Since its inception, FestivalForGood has been a powerful platform to raise awareness about the transformative work of social enterprises and engage both the public and the ecosystem in meaningful support of these change-makers.
A Journey of Growth:
Bigger, Better, Bolder
Held from 2016 until 2020, the event provided a vibrant platform for social enterprises to showcase their work and connect with the public. As the festival grew, it attracted more and more social enterprises, with participation increasing year on year:
FestivalForGood2016
The inaugural FestivalForGood saw 48 social enterprises come together for a day of inspiration and connection, with 1,006 attendees joining the event to learn more about the power of social entrepreneurship.
FestivalForGood 2017
The festival saw incredible growth, featuring 71 social enterprises and attracting 5,537 visitors. This year marked a significant milestone, expanding the reach and influence of social enterprises in Singapore.
FestivalForGood 2018
The event reached new heights with 86 local and regional social enterprises showcasing their impactful work. With 8,100 visitors and 16 corporate partners, the festival truly solidified itself as Asia’s largest celebration of social enterprises. The growing momentum was a testament to the increasing recognition and support for social enterprises as a force for good.
FestivalForGood 2020
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, FestivalForGood adapted to a virtual format and continued to grow, featuring 130 local and regional social enterprises. The online edition attracted over 30,000 website visitors and generated more than 6 million impressions on social media, demonstrating the far-reaching impact of the event in a new digital landscape.

As we look back on the FestivalForGood journey, we are proud of how the event has catalysed new partnerships, highlighted inspiring solutions, and fostered a deeper understanding of the role social enterprises play in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
In the years that followed, many other festivals and marketplaces have emerged, creating additional platforms for social enterprises to showcase their work and connect with like-minded individuals and organisations. As the awareness for social enterprises grew, raiSE’s focus evolved, shifting to support social enterprises in more diverse ways. While FestivalForGood may no longer be held after 2020, raiSE continues to support social enterprises through capacity building, partnerships, and other initiatives that help them thrive and create meaningful social impact.
