About Good News Cafe and Providence Cafe and Bakery

iFood Pte Ltd integrates social impact directly into its business model. Operating commercial cafés and our online supply of bite-sized baked goods for corporate events, we generates sustainable revenue while creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals often excluded from the workforce. Our employment initiatives focus on the ageing population, stroke survivors, dialysis patients, individuals who are hearing impaired, and others who have been marginalised by society. Using a Theory of Change approach, our business operates on a simple but powerful pathway: Business Activity - Customers and Corporate Clients purchase our baked goods and beverages. Immediate Outcome - These purchases create stable job for individuals who may otherwise struggle to secure employment. Medium-Term Impact - Employees gain financial independence, workplace skills, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. Long-Term Impact - Challenge societal stereotypes about employability.
